Right from the onset, at Sicurezza e Ambiente S.p.A. we are committed to investing human and financial resources to improve the training of the clerical workers and operational staff involved in managing the problems and emergencies resulting from road incidents and accidents.

This lengthy training development process culminated in the establishment, on 01.12.2009, of the “Sapere Aude” research and development facility, the aim of which is to promote, support and spread cultural, educational and research activities, in the fields of environmental awareness and road safety.

“Sapere Aude” is a branch of Sicurezza e Ambiente S.p.A., although it makes its own decisions and is financially independent, and deals exclusively with the tasks assigned to it. The company’s Scientific Board is responsible for managing and conducting the business of this research and development facility, which Board is made up of both legal and technical/scientific experts, in order to better fulfil the organisation’s core environmental and road safety objectives.
